Chavez' crime organization smuggled illegal aliens into the United States

MSNBC News is reporting that the June 30 issue of Newsweek will announce a crime breakthrough following the arrest by US Bureau of Immigration & Customs Enforcement of the ringleader in a Chavez criminal organization smuggling illegal aliens into the United States.

  • Homeland Security investigators say they are producing big breakthroughs in non-terrorist cases, including the deaths of 19 illegal aliens found stuffed into a trailer in Victoria (Texas) on May 14.

Money transfers and telephone calls made by victims and more than 50 witnesses who survived the incident led to Karla Patricia Chavez (25) ... a legal resident in the United States ... who is believed by Federal investigators to have led a smuggling ring that would take aliens across the Mexican border for fees of $1,400-$1,900 to destinations throughout the United States.

Chavez' co-conspirators have been identified in Albany (New York State).  Newsweek claims that authorities believe the Chavez organization may have been involved in another incident last October in which the bodies of 11 suspected illegal aliens were found in a rail car near Des Moines (Iowa).  As the net closed, Chavez is said to have fled to Honduras but US investigators mounted a “sting operation” to lure her to Guatemala, from where she was deported immediately to the United States. Chavez’ lawyer says she's pleaded not guilty to charges.

Our editorial statement reads:
VHeadline.com Venezuela is a wholly independent e-publication promoting democracy in its fullest expression and the inalienable right of all Venezuelans to self-determination and the pursuit of sovereign independence without interference. Our stance is decidedly pro-governance (defined as being contrary to anarchy) and pro-government to the extent that we support all and any government policies aimed at consolidating and improving the living conditions and future prosperity of ALL Venezuelans, regardless of race, color or creed. We also seek to shed an international spotlight on nefarious practices and corruption which, for decades, has strangled this South American nation's development and progress. In every respect VHeadline Venezuela's declared editorial bias is most definitely pro-Constitutional, pro-Democracy and pro-VENEZUELA.
