The presenter of the proposal, Deputy Foreign Minister in Economic Affairs Mohsen Talaie was quoted by the Islamic republic news agency during the meeting, "Today we are experiencing a situation that the continuation of the two countries' relations is in need of comprehensive roadmap for at least the next ten years."  Referring to such topics and issues as the current international conditions, the present status of Tehran-Caracas relations and the long term objectives of the two countries' leaders for bilateral ties, he said, "These are important issues that necessitate the drafting of a roadmap for the future of our bilateral ties."

The Iranian deputy foreign minister further stressing the significance of the presented proposal, expressed hope that the Venezuelan part would approve of it keeping in mind the near future state visit of the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of the Islamic Republic of Iran, that he said would be a good opportunity for signing the strategic documents.

Our country's foreign minister also proposed during the meeting that joint headquarters of the two countries Shared Fund and Bank can be established in Tehran and that the matter can be pursued and finalized without delay during President Chavez' upcoming state visit.

Mottaki who is on a tour of a number of African and Latin American countries arrived in Venezuela early Friday morning atop a politico-economic delegation after visiting and conferring with the presidents, parliament speakers, and foreign ministers of such countries as Mali, Mauritania and Brazil. Our editorial statement reads:
VHeadline.com Venezuela is a wholly independent e-publication promoting democracy in its fullest expression and the inalienable right of all Venezuelans to self-determination and the pursuit of sovereign independence without interference. Our stance is decidedly pro-governance (defined as being contrary to anarchy) and pro-government to the extent that we support all and any government policies aimed at consolidating and improving the living conditions and future prosperity of ALL Venezuelans, regardless of race, color or creed. We also seek to shed an international spotlight on nefarious practices and corruption which, for decades, has strangled this South American nation's development and progress. In every respect VHeadline Venezuela's declared editorial bias is most definitely pro-Constitutional, pro-Democracy and pro-VENEZUELA.
