Scottish shop-worker to be buried today; drowned during Venezuela holiday
Scottish Daily Record: A shop-worker who drowned while swimming in South America will be buried today. Colin Love, 23, from Glasgow, was on holiday in Venezuela when he died. His funeral will be held at Gairbraid Parish Church, Maryhill. Friends have been posting tributes to keep-fit fan Colin on the internet.
One pal called Craig said: "Colin was full of life, with a smile that would fill a room with light."
"He touched the hearts of thousands of people that had the pleasure of knowing him or being a good friend ... Colin loved to travel. He was always going some place, whether it was just up the mountains to explore or overseas ... Colin, you touched the hearts of everybody that knew you and we are so privileged to have known you for the years we did ... You inspired and comforted everyone around you."
Another online tribute read: "Everyone is pretty much still in shock. He was a truly nice lad."
On his own Bebo page, Colin wrote: "I 'm decent, loyal, approachable and like to live for the moment." He said he was a keen swimmer and kept fit by going to the gym or running every day.
Colin died on January 29. It is understood his mother flew to Venezuela to identify his body.
