Subject: Distortions by Associated Press

Dear Editor: The undersigned* has worked as a foreign correspondent for the past forty years, getting experience in the global field, including ten years in North Africa and the Middle East. Also for the BBC and CBS, apart from other major media.

I do strongly object to the Associated Press' ways of distorting the news and facts, not only the abhorrent way they treat the people of Venezuela with disinformation US-style, but today again :

"Shocking AP distortions of Belgium court ruling"

I have for a long time understood and experienced how nearly all news agencies like AP-UPI-REUTERS-AFP-FOX-CNN-ABC -- including the Netherlands news agency ANP -- really distort the facts to please and benefit their owners. At present those are the warmongering multi-nationals and in many cases the respective -- also mentally corrupted -- governments like in The Netherlands.

Formerly "real journalists" worked for those news agencies, which have now turned traitor on the people they are supposed to work for : the readers, listeners and watchers.

Anybody accepting "to speak the word of the one that feeds him or her" is absolutely not worthy of being called a Journalist.

At present the distortion of facts concerning war crimes seems to be in vogue when it comes to most international news agencies. Especially in the United States where now three, mostly fraudulent, multi-nationals are the owners of the media ... raping the facts on a daily basis and thereby cheating their customers/recipients, turning them into an ill-informed and therefore ignorant bunch.

My conclusion -- based on decades of experience -- is that NONE of the major newsagencies can be trusted : they are all falsifying the facts.

International news agencies kill honest journalism.
